Since goldfish is famous for its various colorations, white goldfish normally are not popular. However, this variety, though the whole body is silver white, is highly unique for its flush fins. The selection criteria for this variety are so strict that not a single red patch is allowed appearing on the body. It was originally a mutant of White Fantail and gradually the rate of A-class ones has been increased through repeated selective cultivation. Recently a new mutant has been cultivated whose fins are all black.
